Unterwerkstatthof is only a snowball’s throw from one of the most brilliant ski regions in all of South Tyrol. You can cover the 2 km to the Ski Center Latemar in Obereggen by car or ski bus faster than you can say “pure winter sport pleasure in the lovely Eggen valley in the Dolomites”. 50 km of varied runs await skiers and snow boarders. Thanks to different degrees of difficulty the area caters for beginners as well as experts. The runs are connected by 18 modern lifts. Three times a week you can ski or toboggan down floodlit runs. Endless cross country tracks let you glide through the wintery fairy-tale world of the Eggen valley. Snowshoe hikes and toboggan runs promise endless family fun.

On the other hand, you can also spend a homely and reflective holiday at Unterwerkstatthof. When small and big children feel like a break from skiing, they can build a snow castle, have a competition to build the most formidable snowman or have a proper snowball fight. It’s great fun for all ages to slide down the hill on a nylon bag. At night you gather around the tiled stove, have a hot chocolate or Glühwein and reminisce about a great winter’s day on our family farm in Eggen.
